Congradulations to Michael Romes a Junior at Mount St. Joseph from Beechwood Kentucky for scoring his 1,000 career point. What an outstanding accomplishment this is. To make it even a better accomplishment is that he is only a junior year and he stil has one more year to break the scoring title of Mount st Joseph. He is jus 107 points shy of being topping Jarett Young the current leading scorer. He is also currently our leading rebounder on a team. Michael Romes is a hard worker. He strives to excel on the court and with this you see good results. So, congradulations Romes i hope you can take over the all time scoring leader!

VJ Evans
Vincent Evans aka stretch aka Vaj aka VJ aka sunshine a legit 6'4 guard/ wing player. One of our few versatile players that can play many different positions and always bring many different aspects to the game instead of being one dimensional like many on our team. He is also another Freshman on the Mount St. Joseph Lions team. Vincent Evans from Dayton, Ohio coming from powerhouse Chaminade-Julienne who won the Greater Catholic League in 2003 2005 and 2006. VJ can do many things well but dunking is one of his best!
Day off from basketball
Of the few days we get off to rest our legs and just relax is the best days ever. I make best of these days. I try to sleep all day and stay away from all extra curricular activities. On this one specific day off i went to see my old teamate play in his intramural game. What a different type of playing it is. During these games there is usually no type of plays ran and usually no types of yelling at each other. It seemed as if these intramural games which were held at Northern Kentucky University the pace was even faster on the court than our pace is on the court. People not on an organized team run faster up and down the court faster than an organized team what a surprise what an embarrassement!

Throw it down
Robert Jackson a 5'9 point guard/shooting guard from Toledo, Ohio from Waite High School. If not the fastest player on the team one of the fastest players on the team. He can go left he can go right give him a little room he'll pipe(dunk). To me he is one of our best athletes and best guards on the team. Varsity of Junior Varsity? I let you be the judge of that just by this video but, i warn you before you watch this video please sit back and relax because this is just one of the many highlights that we as a team Varsity or Junior Varsity will show you.

Practice, practice and more practice
Just another day of practice a long day of practice i might add a long and pointless practice i might add. The same practice over and over again nothing new nothing different. The same results the same outcomes. Still lack of effort during practice. I thought practice makes one better i guess not to them. I thought the old saying was pratice makes perfect or work hard in practice will result in good outcomes during the games. Should you change whats happening in practice if its not leading towards a win the next game day? Should you just make the players run during practice becuase they lost the previous game? According to all star Allen Iverson "we talkin about practice not a game we talkin about practice. Not a game not the game i go out and i die for like it is my last. not the game we talkin about practice. When you come to the arena you see me play you see me play you see me give everything i got. we talking about practice. we not even talking about the actual game when it matters. How the hell can i make my teamates better by practice?"
